This is a full version of the system (excluding the escalation component), with some of the features locked. The full capabilities of Helpdesk can be used as soon as you enter the registration key that you will receive from Intexnet after registration and payment. Download full install set (zip file - 6.1Mb) After downloading, unzip the zip file to a folder on your hard disk. Double click setup.exe to start the installation. You will need zip software such as Winzip (1.2MB) to do this. Installer fileIf your server is running Windows 2000 (SP1+) or Windows XP, then you can download this smaller install file. It will also work in Windows NT (SP6) if the Windows Installer (V1.2+) has been installed by another application. If the file does not work, then use the previous download, which includes the installer components. Download Helpdesk installer file (msi file - 3.5Mb) After downloading, double click the Helpdesk 2.7.409.msi file to start the installation. If the installation fails because you do not have the correct version of Windows Installer, then use the full install set above. |
If you are interested in Intexnet Helpdesk, but choose not to install the evaluation version, you can download only Helpdesk's help files. Browsing through this documentation will allow you to explore all the features of Helpdesk. The help files are simply copied to your hard disk, nothing needs to be installed.

Helpdesk requires Windows NT 4 (SP6) with IIS 4, or Windows 2000 with IIS 5. PWS running on Windows 9x or Windows NT Workstation is not supported.
Helpdesk can be removed using the control panel Add/Remove programs applet. The removal process may leave the Helpdesk folder and DLL file behind. These can be removed manually after the web server is stopped and restarted (or the computer is shut down).
