Colour picker demo

To use

Click on one of the colour swatches on the dialog above. Then choose a colour using the colour picker dialog. You may choose Internet Explorer specific colours (that may be dithered on other browsers) or colour safe colours (which will not be dithered on any 256 colour systems). This demo simply updates the colour in the swatch with the selected colour.

This is a demo of the Intexnet colour selector distributed as freeware.

LICENSE: SelectColor.asp is hereby released into the public domain. You are free to use or abuse it in any way. All I ask is that if you are using it in a real web site or web application, you ackowledge that Intexnet helped by something like "parts of this software courtesy of Intexnet (www.intexnet.co.za)", or at least email me to let me know that you are using it

This software runs on IE4+ only. Untested on Netscape. As such it is suitable for an IE based Intranet environment, but less so for web deployment. If you care to create a Netscape compatible and tested version of this software, I would appreciate a copy.

As the colour picker itself is an ASP (active server pages), it needs to be run from a web server. If you run it directly from your hard disk, it will not work! If you don't know what an ASP is, or how they work, this is not the best place to start.
